Ride Illinois hosted a virtual conversation with author Christopher Sweet to discuss his new book 'A History of Bicycling in Illinois: 160 Years of Booms and Busts'. We explored how Illinois emerged as a forefront of bicycling. Together, we dug into how the bicycle industry shaped culture and social change across the the state. Whether you're a bicyclist, history lover, advocate (or all three), this webinar was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the relationship between biking and Illinois.
